Torbiere del Sebino Map
I and four of my peers took part in an international competition organized by TerraViva. The Prompt: to design 3 wildlife pavilions that prioritize native flora and fauna while allowing humans to respectfully pass through the delicate swamp ecosystem of Torbiere del Sebino. The story we created enables visitors to contemplate their place within the vast bog. Each pavilion is created with reeds (similar to the reed architecture of Iraq) allowing them to seamlessly blend in with the circle of life at Torbiere.
My Part:
Although a large part of this project was group work, there were certain areas I primarily contributed to. They are:
- Researching reeds as a building material
- Creating the base reed model in Revit
- Learning and teaching drawing these reed structures in Revit
- Learning and teaching how to create "X-ray" illustrations (Shown on the right, PAV 1 & 2 were my work)
